Grading Rubric
Each student will get a grade on their projects, (50%) participation (25%) quizzes and (25%) projects.
Those three grades will be averaged together to get their nine weeks grade. The grades are 3, 2, 1 or 0. 3 is a 100, 2 is an 84, 1 is a 77 and a 0 is a 69 or under.
3 Proficient: means you followed all of the teachers directions. You put lines and dots where the teacher asked you to.
2 Making Progress: means you followed most of the teachers directions but your project might be messy. You may have left white spots in your project.
1 Developing: means you did not follow the teachers directions. Your project is messy and you did not put all of your dots and lines where the teacher asked you to. You may have left white spots in your project.
0 Does not attempt: means you did not follow directions. Your project is messy. You did not put any of your dots and lines where the teacher asked you to. You may have left white spots in your project. Or you did not finished your project

1. What can I do next time on my project to improve my score?
2. Write an art goal for yourself that includes improvement in on of the following areas: craftsmanship, following directions or staying on task with the assignment.
3. How did I use craftsmanship on my project?
4. Which type of craftsmanship do you struggle in (neatness in coloring, blending color or keeping the project clean of eraser marks, smudges and dirt?
5. If you struggle in an area of craftsmanship listed above, what can you do differently to improve yourself in that area?
